This Acceptable Use Policy explains the rules governing the use of the SkillBid platform. All users must follow these rules when creating accounts, communicating with other users, bidding on tasks, or performing work.

This policy works together with the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

1. Permitted Use

Users may use SkillBid to:

  • Post legitimate tasks and freelance opportunities.
  • Submit professional bids for available tasks.
  • Communicate with clients and freelancers regarding work.
  • Deliver services and digital work products.
  • Use escrow payments and contract tools provided by the platform.

2. Prohibited Activities

Users must not engage in activities that include but are not limited to:

  • Fraud, scams, or misleading representations.
  • Posting illegal services or unlawful work requests.
  • Harassment, abuse, threats, or discriminatory behavior.
  • Uploading malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Impersonating another individual or organization.
  • Manipulating ratings, reviews, or reputation systems.
  • Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions.

3. Off-Platform Payments

Users must not attempt to bypass SkillBid’s escrow or payment system by requesting or sending payments outside the platform when the transaction originates from SkillBid.

Circumventing the platform’s payment system may result in account suspension or termination.

4. Sharing Personal Contact Information

To protect users from fraud and maintain transaction security, users should avoid sharing personal contact information such as:

  • Phone numbers
  • Email addresses
  • Social media accounts
  • External payment details

Such information may only be shared when necessary to complete work after a contract has been established through the platform.

5. Platform Enforcement

SkillBid reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy and take appropriate enforcement actions.

Possible enforcement actions include:

  • Warning notifications
  • Content removal
  • Temporary account suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Loss of platform privileges

6. Reporting Violations

If you encounter behavior that violates this policy, you may report it to SkillBid support.
